Easy-Laser® E910 – Flange
Measure windmill tower flanges of any size
Easy-Laser® E910 Flange is a system used to measure flange flatness of windmill towers, wings and hubs, tower bases, etc. It can also be used for parallelism measurement.
Description
See the result as a true 3D image in the display unit directly after measuring. Then evaluate the result easily with different calculation settings, for example three point reference, best fit or all positive. This can also be done directly on site without having to stop to go to a PC with separate analysis programs, which was the case previously. This makes production much more efficient.
The system includes laser transmitter D22 with manual rotatable head, and with the option of deflecting the laser beam 90°. With a few more accessories the system can also be used to check the parallelism of the two tower flanges. In the measurement system’s display unit it is possible to generate a PDF report containing graphs and measurement data. All information about the measurement object is documented.
FOR ALL TYPES OF FLANGE
Easy-Laser® Flange systems can be used on all sizes of flanges, regardless of diameter. You can measure 1 to 5 circles of measurement points, for example inner, middle and outer circles, in order to see the taper of the flange. Each circle can have 6–180 measurement points. The program guides you graphically step-by-step through the entire measurement, which quickens the measurement process. Three methods are available: Full circle measurement, Sectional measurement and Partial measurement.
PARALLELISM OF TOWER FLANGES
Easy-Laser® enables you to measure and check the parallelism of the flanges. This can be done in several ways, as shown to the right with system E910 for example. In addition to the standard equipment, two tripods and an angular prism are required.
EVALUATE DIRECTLY ON SITE
When the measurement of the flange is complete, the digits must then be interpreted. Easy-Laser® Flange systems make this extremely easy to do. And you can even do it on site, without having to go to a PC with separate analysis programs. You can evaluate the result with different calculation settings, for example “three point reference”, “best fit” or “all positive”. The result is shown via graphics in true 3D.

Easy-Laser® E915 – Flange spin
Measure windmill tower flanges with spinning laser
Easy-Laser® E915 is a system used to measure flange flatness of windmill towers and slewing bearings with an easy-to-use rotating laser.
You can see the result as a 3D image in the display unit immediately after measuring and you can evaluate the result with different calculation settings.
The system includes laser transmitter D23 Spin with power rotating head. This is how it works in brief: The laser beam from the transmitter rotates constantly and creates a reference plane over the entire measurement object. Measurements are performed quicker as you do not have to align the beam for each new measurement position. You place the detector at the desired measurement points and register the reading by a push of a button. In principle, one person can perform the measurement themselves. It is then possible to generate a PDF report containing graphs and measurement data directly from the measurement system’s display unit. All information about the measurement object is documented.

Easy-Laser® E920 – Geometric
Measurement system for all types of geometric measurement
Easy-Laser® E920 is a complete system in itself, with laser transmitter, detector and display unit. But it is also an excellent starting point for creating a measurement system that suits your specific needs and requirements, because all the measurement programs are included as standard!
Add extra laser transmitters, measuring units and brackets as well as other accessories from the wide Easy-Laser range. Now or in the future.
Description
Easy-Laser® E920 can be used to carry out all the most common geometric measurements; straightness, flatness, squareness, plumb and level. Measurement is quick and precise.
Displayed resolution is 0.001 mm [0.05 mils]. The laser transmitter is our well known big seller, the D22 with levelling table, strong magnetic feet, and a range of up to 40 m. The transmitter’s laser beam can be compared to an absolutely straight and weightless ruler, that is to say a perfect starting point for precision measurement. The swivelling laser head gives a laser plane parallel to the measured object and can also angle the laser beam 90° to the sweep for squareness measurement.
The display unit has a large and clear 5.7” colour screen. The programs guide you step-by-step through the measuring process, which makes it easy even for inexperienced users. The system can provide full documentation, with direct generation of PDF reports, and database programs for PC for example. The detector transfers the measurement data to the display unit wirelessly, or by cable if required. The advantages of wireless are especially clear on mechanical constructions and objects where cables can snag or get in the way.
The most common method is to fix the laser transmitter to the measurement object using the mounting magnets, or mounting it on a tripod (accessory) to one side. A pin is also provided to secure the laser transmitter to a machine spindle or equivalent, to check straightness and spindle alignment for example.

Easy-Laser® E930 – Extruder
Measurement system for alignment of extrusion machines
Easy-Laser® E930 is designed to measure straightness and pointing direction, primarily on extruder pipes.Another application can be hydraulic pipes for example.
An aligned extrusion machine leads to:
- Less wear on the extruder screw and tube.
- Even quality on the produced material.
- Increased machine availability.
Description
With the Easy-Laser® E930 system, pipes with diameters down to 50 mm can be measured, at a range of up to 40 m. The transmitter’s laser beam can be compared to an absolutely straight and weightless ruler, that is to say a perfect starting point for precision measurement.
During the alignment procedure both detector and spindle are rotated, thus self calibrating the system. This way you can determine how the centre line of the spindle is, relative to the tube’s centre at the inlet end.
DOCUMENT YOUR MEASUREMENT RESULTS
The detector’s measurement value is transferred to the display unit wirelessly, which means that one can measure more freely. The measurement system has programs that guide you step-by-step, using clear graphics on a large 5.7″ colour screen. You can also produce full documentation for your measurement job, with direct generation of PDF reports, and database programs for PC for example.
MANY REASONS FOR ALIGNMENT
The gearbox shaft centre must coincide with the centre line of the extruder tube. Otherwise the screw at the inlet’s end will be pressed against the tube, which will lead to abnormal wear of both screw and tube along with increased energy consumption. This wear can also result in metal fragments in the produced material. It is important that the extruder tube is straight so that the screw does not rest against the tube in any part, which can result in abnormal wear and fragments of metal in produced material. We will also get a more even temperature of produced material which in the end results in a better product.
COMPLETE SYSTEM WITH ALL THE MEASURING PROGRAMS
Easy-Laser® E930 is a complete system in itself, with laser transmitter, detector and display unit. You can also add other parts from our extensive range to build a system that suits your specific needs and requirements, because all the measurement programs are included as standard. For example add shaft alignment equipment for other rotating machines, and lasers for flatness measurement.

You can add, remove and remeasure measurement points at any time during the measurement. Up to 999 points can be handled by the program. You can include both full bores and half bores in any possible combination in one measurement, the program will calculate the correct centre line in all cases. The measurement program includes many different methods for straightness measurement: 1-point measurement, 4-point measurement, Multipoint measurement (also ovality measurement), 3-point measurement, 3-point measurement with arbitrary angles. Optionally a reference detector can be used to monitor the laser transmitter position at long distances.
THE MEASUREMENT RESULTS
Thanks to the large colour display with clear graphs and measurement data you can evaluate the result directly on site. Any point can be set as reference and you can set an offset to which the centre line will be recalculated. You can also calculate waviness (short and long) and best-fit for the points. If you want, the result can also be checked against a tolerance value. The measurement system takes care of all these complicated calculations for you.

Easy-Laser® E970 – Parallelism
For parallelism measurement – and more!
For parallelism measurement of rolls and other objects in numerous applications. The E970 is especially suitable when many objects are to be measured and aligned, and when the distances are long. Any chosen object or the baseline can be used as a reference.
Description
Easy-Laser® E970 Parallelism system use the traditional method where a laser beam is pointed alongside the machine, and then deflected 90 degrees towards the measurement object by a penta prism.
The prism is moved along the beam, which is deflected to each roll that is to be measured, and maybe aligned. Both ends of the roll are measured, and you get an angular value which is compared to the reference line (base line) or a reference roll. Besides paper machines, printing machines and rolling mills you can also measure and align rails, overhead tracks, metal sheet cutters and many other types of machines.
The E970 is especially suitable when many objects are to be measured and aligned, and when measuring over a long distance. The maximum distance with a standard system is 80 metres, the number of measurement objects can be several hundred, but is more likely limited by other practical factors than the system software! The alignment of the rolls can be performed in live mode with instant feedback. You can add, remove and remeasure objects any time during measurement. The result is displayed both graphically and digitally in a table, and a PDF report can be produced directly on-site. Then transfer the results to your PC and the data base software EasyLink™ (included).
VERSATILE SYSTEM FOR MANY DIFFERENT KINDS OF MEASUREMENTS
Easy-Laser® E970 is not only limited to parallelism measurement. You can also use the system to measure level, straightness and flatness on wire sections (suction boxes), flatness on foundations and straightness of rolls. With a few accessories you can also do shaft alignment. This makes the E970 a very cost effective solution for your maintenance department.
